Reflections on Ross Lake

The Smithers Art Gallery presents "Reflections on Ross Lake" featuring the work of Robert Mansfield. The show runs from February 8 to March 5. Meet the artist at our evening Opening on Friday, February 11, from 7-9pm. Everyone is welcome - admission is free and refreshments are provided. The gallery is open Tuesday through Saturday from 12-4pm.

Robert Mansfield is an abstract artist from Hazelton and has had his work exhibited throughout Canada. He appreciates the freedom of working with many different kinds of paints with the canvas on the ground, enabling him to approach it from any direction.

The gallery will be hosting a BreakThrough Noon artist lecture on Wednesday February 16, at noon in the gallery. Robert will discuss his abstract work and describe some of his experimental techniques. You are welcome to bring your lunch.
