Franziska Cody

Franzi Cody was born and raised in East Germany and now calls Telkwa BC home, where she lives with her husband Dmitri. She is a full time ceramic artist creating wheel thrown and hand build pottery at her studio and gallery, Art & Soul Pottery, located on 1269 Hwy 16 (Telkwa). Her "working studio" offers the opportunity to watch the process of making pottery and welcomes requests for custom orders to meet specific interests. Besides working with clay, Franzi also dedicates much of her time to creative writing and painting in oil, acrylic and water color. In being creative she finds her stillness and balance, and her hope is that her artwork inspires the viewer to see and feel the magic life has to offer to each of us.
